V-Ray 3.3 for Maya is here, and it s fast V-Ray 3.3 for Maya is a free update for V-Ray 3.X for Maya artists, and it s available now. Most scenes render 20-50% faster, and this release introduces final frame rendering on the GPU with the updated V-Ray RT. Like V-Ray for 3ds Max, 3.3 for Maya has the new Variance-based Adaptive Sampling. This means faster set-up and less adjustments since lights and materials are evaluated automatically. And these are just a few of the many new features. If you have V-Ray 3 or 3.1 for Maya, just login at chaosgroup.com and go to the download page to get this free update. For more information on what else is new, check out our video overview or visit V-Ray.com.
